OUR STORY

After decades designing and managing large municipal infrastructure projects, Dennis Crownover returned to the area where he grew up hunting and fishing along Idaho’s legendary Salmon River. In 2016 Salmon River Armory was founded to pursue his passions for engineering and firearms performance enhancement.

Today, Salmon River Armory (SRA) employs cutting edge materials and industry proven manufacturing techniques to produce unique, highly effective and field proven firearms performance components and accessories.

At Salmon River Armory, we are avid hunters and shooters who get tired of seeing all the cool gear and upgrades being made only for high-end rifles. We decided to change that.

We design and manufacture high quality upgrades for real-world, popular rifles—like the Ruger American and Savage 110—right here in Salmon, Idaho. Our goal is simple: give everyday shooters the upgrades they’ve been asking for. No gimmicks, no crazy prices—just solid, American-made components and accessories that work.

From Arca rails to magazine conversions, everything we make is built in-house with performance and ease of installation in mind. Whether you’re calling coyotes, beginning a new competitive shooting sport, or heading into the field for your annual big game hunt—we help your rifle do more.
