The R-DPR is a 4.75-inch model-specific Picatinny rail designed for Ruger American factory stocks. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the rail follows the factory stock contour for a precise fit and provides 10 usable Picatinny slots for mounting bipods and other compatible accessories. The rail mounts using existing factory stock features and relocates the sling attachment point to the front of the rail.

Will the R-DPR fit my Ruger American rifle?
The R-DPR fits Ruger American Gen 2 centerfire short- and long-action factory stocks. It may also fit certain Ruger American Gen 1 rifles equipped with the later-style factory stocks manufactured after about 2017. Gen 1 compatibility depends on internal stock geometry, not simply the rifle generation. The R-DPR is not compatible with Ruger American Rimfire rifles.
Does installation require drilling the factory stock?
Yes. Installation requires drilling one mounting hole in the factory polymer stock. The R-DPR includes a #6 drill bit and a drill guide to accurately locate and drill the required hole. The guide takes the guesswork out of the process, and installation typically takes about five minutes. No gunsmithing or special skills are required.
Can I still use a sling with the G2SA installed?
Yes. While installation of the R-DPR requires removal of the factory sling stud, the R-DPR includes an integrated sling mount at the front of the rail, allowing continued use of standard sling attachment hardware.
Will the R-DPR fit a Ruger American Gen 1 rifle?
The R-DPR may fit certain Ruger American Gen 1 short- and long-action centerfire rifles equipped with the later-style factory stocks manufactured after about 2017. Compatibility depends on internal stock geometry, not simply the rifle generation. If you have a Gen 1 rifle and are unsure whether your stock is compatible, contact SRA before ordering and we can help you verify fitment.
