Unlike the competitors “universal fit” rails, the SAX2P arca rail has been meticulously engineered to precisely fit the Savage Axis 2 Pro polymer rifle stocks.

One obvious design hurdle we needed to address was how to bridge the recessed sling swivel stud notch in the fore end of the Axis 2 stock. We accomplished this by designing a wedge-shaped part that precisely fits this gap and matches the stock contours. This part is manufactured using an FDM 3D printing process using a high-tech glass fiber reinforced filament which closely matches the color and texture of the stock.

The goal for the SAX2P was to produce a high quality, lightweight but rigid, full-length Swiss-Arca adapter system that is precisely contoured to match the Savage Axis 2 stocks and can be quickly and easily installed by anyone. In addition to the precision fit and ease of installation, the SAX2P is very attractive and looks like it belongs on the rifle. Unlike other rails, the SAX2P doesn’t look or feel bulky, and all edges have been rounded or chamfered to ensure comfortable off-hand shooting that feels natural.

Machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in the latest (F-Series) high performance coatings from Cerakote. This 10.250" rail offers a full-length Swiss Arca mounting interface—ideal for securely attaching tripods, bipods, and other accessories. Beyond its modularity, the rail improves fore end stiffness, providing a more solid and stable shooting platform to fully realize the Savage rifles full potential!

Installation is quick and easy, thanks to the included drill guides, quality hardware, and clear instructions. Most users can complete installation in under five minutes with no specialized tools or gunsmithing skills required.
