The HSAX2 is a compact, model-specific Swiss Arca rail designed for the Savage Axis 2 Pro factory stock. Based on SRA's full-length SAX2P Arca rail, the HSAX2 measures 3.875 inches long and provides a lightweight Arca mounting interface for compatible tripods, bipods, and accessories. The rail is machined in-house in the USA from 6061-T6 aluminum and uses a single mounting point. Installation is designed to be completed by the customer using the supplied mounting hardware, drill bit, and drill guide.

Why Contour Matching Matters
Most accessory rails are designed as universal mounting solutions, using a relatively flat mounting surface against a curved or irregular factory stock.
SRA takes a different approach. We use 3D scanning technology to capture the actual geometry of the factory stock and create an accurate digital model. That model is then brought into CAD and used as the foundation for the rail design, allowing us to precisely shape the underside of the rail to match the stock's unique contour.
This creates substantially more contact between the rail and stock, distributing mounting forces across a larger area rather than concentrating them around individual mounting points. The result is a more rigid, integrated mounting platform with less opportunity for the factory polymer stock to flex under tripod or bipod load.
Just as importantly, the rail looks and feels like it was designed as part of the rifle—not added to it as an afterthought.

Basic Installation Step Summary
Position the supplied drill guide on the Savage Axis 2 Pro factory stock as directed in the installation video. Using the supplied drill bit and drill guide, drill the required mounting hole.
Position the HSAX2 on the fore-end, align the rail with the mounting location, and secure it using the supplied mounting hardware. Verify that the rail is properly positioned and seated against the stock before final tightening.
Installation uses only a single mounting point and is designed to be completed by the customer without gunsmithing.
