The G2SA is a 10.25-inch full-length Swiss Arca rail designed specifically for Ruger American Gen 2 short-action Standard, Ranch and Predator factory stocks. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the rail follows the factory stock contour for increased contact and rigidity and installs using SRA's drill-guide-assisted mounting system.

Compatible Ruger American Gen 2 short-action rifles measure approximately 4.046 inches. Long-action rifles measure approximately 4.578 inches and require a different SRA rail.

Why Contour Matching Matters
Most accessory rails are designed as universal mounting solutions, using a relatively flat mounting surface against a curved or irregular factory stock.
SRA takes a different approach. We use 3D scanning technology to capture the actual geometry of the factory stock and create an accurate digital model. That model is then brought into CAD and used as the foundation for the rail design, allowing us to precisely shape the underside of the rail to match the stock's unique contour.
This creates substantially more contact between the rail and stock, distributing mounting forces across a larger area rather than concentrating them around individual mounting points. The result is a more rigid, integrated mounting platform with less opportunity for the factory polymer stock to flex under tripod or bipod load.
Just as importantly, the rail looks and feels like it was designed as part of the rifle—not added to it as an afterthought.

Can I still use a sling with the G2SA installed?
Yes. The G2SA includes a sling swivel stud and provides two mounting positions on the rail, allowing you to retain a traditional sling attachment while using the Arca rail.
Will the G2SA fit a Ruger American Gen 1 rifle?
The G2SA may fit certain Ruger American Gen 1 long-action rifles equipped with the later-style factory stocks manufactured after about 2017. Compatibility depends on the stock's barrel-channel geometry, not simply the rifle generation. If you have a Gen 1 rifle and are unsure whether your stock is compatible, contact SRA before ordering and we can help you verify fitment.
What tripods and bipods are compatible with the G2SA?
The G2SA uses the standard Swiss Arca mounting interface and is compatible with most Arca-compatible tripod heads, clamps and bipod adapters. It allows compatible accessories to be positioned anywhere along the usable length of the rail for greater flexibility in rifle support and balance.
